A figure sat in the shadows of the mall in Scotland. Jessica Love Caper, or just caper, was waiting to meet up with someone. She didn’t want the school to know. She was meeting up with an old friend. Said friend was going to remain nameless. She would never let anyone know who she meets up with outside of school. no one knew. Not even the teacher. She kept her secrets easily. She didn’t have many friends in the school. and the one person she seems to always be with she’s always fighting with. Simms was a strange character. Or so caper thought.
Caper glanced at her watch and sighed. Her friend would be here in another hour. And she couldn’t wait. He was getting her some alcohol to sneak into the academy and drink herself. She might offer to share with people but she didn’t know if that would be safe. If too many students were seen with beer, and other alcohol, she might get caught and her privileges taken away. no she wouldn’t share, and risk it. she would be forced to tell the school where she got the drinks from. And that was not how caper was.
Smiling at people as they walked by caper seemed like any other eighteen year old girl would when they went to the mall. She was wearing a loose fitting shirt with sweat pants. She wanted to be comfortable because she knew she would be sitting for a while. Something caught capers eye and she looked around. Was her friend already here? or was she just being paranoid enough to think that she was being watched. Whatever the reason she wanted her friend to hurry up and get here. waiting always made her nervous. But she knew that all that she asked for would be hard to get. She wanted the good stuff and she had money stashed away to pay him back when she got it. she leaned back and kept waiting.
caper remembered that she was to meet someone else here today. someone she was going to be helping get some stuff. she texted her dealer and asked him to bring a variety of drugs. she told him that he had someone else who was going to be buying stuff from him too. someone who can be trusted, she said. she also told him to bring her favorite stuff. so much for trying to just get drink. she was going to be getting drugs. and she was loving it.

Caper looked over at Haylee. So she showed up. She smiled at Haylee and said, “He’ll be here. He’s just finishing up our order.” She didn’t want to mention that he didn’t know when Haylee was going to arrive so he was taking his time and making sure everything was perfect. She looked around the mall and said, “He’s gonna meet us here, but the transaction is gonna happen somewhere a little more private than the food court.” She knew that Jake, her dealer and long time friend, was probably already almost here. He only lived a short distance from here. He moved here when Caper was sent to Kayson.
She was happy that he moved to be closer to her. She was his longest standing client and she knew it. He would do anything to keep her business. Smiling she saw him, first by his bright blonde hair and then his extremely tan skin. She couldn’t help but smile and say, “Jake. How wonderful to see you again.” Jake just simply looked Caper over and then looked at Haylee. “Is this the crank girl?” he asked, keeping his eyes on Haylee and his voice low. “This is Haylee,” Caper said, motioning between Jake and Haylee, “Haylee this is Jake. My dealer.”
Jake looked around the food court and said, “come one.” He and Caper led the way to a corner of the mall that no one really used. He pulled out Caper’s order first and said, “I threw in a little extra stuff in. Here’s the alcohol you asked for. And you got some of your favorite in here too.” Next Jake turned to Haylee and said, “Caper says you can be trusted. So, your first order from me is free. Here’s $100 worth of crank.” He turned to Caper and whispered, “Make sure you take care and don’t get caught. And keep on eye on Haylee. I don’t want no one dieing of an overdose or nothing like that.” Caper hugged Jake goodbye and watched him leave the mall. “Told you he’s reliable.” Caper said, smiling a little at Haylee.

I SMILE WHEN I'M ANGRY, I CHEAT AND I LIE ,i do what i have to do to get by. but i know what is wrong, and i know what is right. and i’d die for the truth ( IN MY S E C R E T LIFE ) haylee threatened. she was smaller than jessica, but that didn't mean that she was weaker. people underestimated haylee, which is where most of them went wrong. she might appear to be an angel, but messing with her was bad. "smart, i don't really want people finding out i do these things, okay?" she added. haylee had a reputation to uphold, and if word spread that he was doing drugs to de-stress, then she would definitely be kicked down a notch. she talked her foot impatiently, this was taking forever. haylee had never been an impatient girl, but she wanted to get this over with so that the fear of getting caught would escape her. finally, she saw jessica smile and speak to a boy in the distance. haylee turned to look at him, examining his appearance. he didn't really seem like the drug-dealing type, but of course, she didn’t seem like the type of girl that would buy drugs either. "hey.... just so you know id rather not be called "crank girl", got it? good" haylee said. she didn't like jake that much, but seeing as he was the one giving her crank, she couldn't really say anything worse. so she held her tongue, wishing for once that she didn’t have the ability to come up with a snarky comment. she followed jake and jessica to an abandoned corner of the mall, keeping her eye out for any wandering person. most would have though of this experience as a tad exciting, but haylee was just waiting for it to be over. she was no longer nervous, but had moved on to being bored of all the secrecy. haylee just wanted her part, so she could go on with her business. she had noticed many of the signs in the stores had sale signs, and she did not want to miss out. she watched as jake handed jessica her own stuff, before grabbing the bag from his hand, and putting it in her own. "thanks" she said suspiciously. no dealer would ever give their stuff away, that was just as dumb as making a drug exchange at the mall. but they had already done that, so what else could they do. anyways she watched as jake said goodbye, making sure that neither of them knew that she had heard what he said. "you were right, but i still don't trust him. who gives crank away for free? unless you're giving him something besides money" haylee said suggestively.
